CHVBC brought 11 teams and over 100 players to the 2016 NEQ national qualifier in Philadelphia. The teams faced tough competition from all over the country and responded with inspired play and FOUR bracket victories on the final day of competition.
Participating in the 12U, 13U & 14U divisions for the first time in club history, our youth teams posted six match wins and a bracket victory by the CHVBC 14 Panthers! Our high school teams showed their experience, racking up 28 match wins and bracket victories for 15 Huskies, 16 Royals and 16 Riptide. 17 Arsenal made it all the way to the Silver Finals finishing 18th in their age group! Congrats to all of our players and coaches on a great weekend!
CHVBC 16 Riptide went a perfect 5-0 in Bethpage, NY, taking home 1st place in the GEVA Power League. The team is now 9-1 in Power League play on the season and has won the last two Power League Tournaments.
On the other side of the bracket, CHVBC 16 Royals went 3-2 on the day and pulled out a 18-16 third set win in the consolation finals. Congrats to both teams!

CHVBC 13 Wildcats finished a perfect 5-0 on Sunday and took home 1st place in the Gold Bracket on Sunday! The team started the day with a 3-set victory over Quandomania and kept the momentum going with back to back wins over Asphalt Green and AVVC to finish a perfect 3-0 in pool play.
A semifinal win propelled them to the tournament final against CJVA. After splitting the first two sets, the Wildcats found themselves in a tightly contested match. Set 3 went back and forth until the end when CHVBC closed out the match with a big kill for the final point! Congrats to all of the players! Keep up the hard work!
CHVBC 16 Riptide went the distance on Saturday with FIVE 3-SET WINS!!! Coach Carolyn lead the team to a 5-0 record on the day with a 10-5 overall performance in the 15 sets played.
In a tightly contested pool, Riptide showed composure by winning the 3rd set of all three matches and taking 1st in the pool. The team continued their dominance in the playoffs with a 15-13 win over Summit CJVA in the semis and a 15-9 win over NY Blast in the finals.
On the other side of the bracket, Coach Elizabeth lead the Royals to back-to-back 2 set victories over Apex and CJVA to win the consolation bracket. Congrats to both teams! Enjoy a well deserved day off tomorrow!!!
The CHVBC 12 Pandas traveled to CJVA for the second time and came out on top again! Starting the day with only 6 players, the Pandas split pool play with a 3-3 record while settling into their new lineup.
The team cruised into the final against a tough CJVA 13s opponent. After a back and forth match, the Pandas prevailed with a 27-25 win. Congrats to our players on a great day and thanks to CJVA for hosting again!!!

CHVBC 12 Pandemonium (aka the Pandas) finished first at the CJVA Friendship Tournament. The team won 11 of their 12 sets overall.
Serving was at a premium as the Pandas pumped in jump floats and continued to work on their Pass-Set-Hit combinations. Congrats to Coach Robin and the team on a great day!
Congratulations to our 2015 CHVBC Players who earned All South Jersey and All Conference honors this year! These honors are a testament to your hard work and dedication to the sport.
In all, 9 of the 16 players selected for the 1st and 2nd team All South Jersey were CHVBC players during the prior club season!!! Another 8 CHVBC players earned All South Jersey honorable mention. Additionally, 25 CHVBC players were selected for All-Conference this year.
