CHVBC 11 Thunder went a perfect 4-0 on the day playing up in Flight 2 of the GEVA 12U division on Saturday! The team made significant strides with their serving and hitting while posting wins over LI Hurricanes, Rival, BEV & Pinnacle. They will move up to Flight 1 at the next tournament.
CHVBC 15 Intensity went a perfect 4-0 in Flight 1 of the GEVA Power League. With wins over NYC Juniors, Downstate, VB Rags and Academy, the team took over the #1 spot in the regional rankings out of 134 U15 teams in NJ and NY. It is the first time a team from South Jersey has been ranked #1 in the GEVA Region. Congratulations on a great day of volleyball!
CHVBC 17 Venom finished in second place overall at the 2020 Monument City Classic in Richmond, VA! After starting the tournament with wins over Premier and CVC, the team swept their Day 2 pool in three 3-set thrillers. The wins over Brandywine, Carolina Evolution and MVSA propelled them into the Gold Bracket.
All nine CHVBC teams in attendance finished in the Top 10 in their respective divisions. Congratulations to Venom and the entire club on a great weekend of volleyball!

CHVBC 11 Pirates qualified for USA Volleyball Junior Nationals at the 2019 GEVA Regional Championships! The team will head to Indianapolis in July to compete with the top team in the country.
The Pirates feature a young, enthusiastic roster of eight, nine and ten year old athletes including many who are playing volleyball for the first time. Lead by Coach Alex and Coach EJ, the team built a solid foundation of volleyball fundamentals and positive mindset throughout the season. We are so proud to have our youngest players representing CHVBC on the national stage! Indianapolis, here we come!!!
CHVBC 12 Predators went 5-0 on the day and took home first place in Flight 1 of the 2019 GEVA Regional Championships! The team cruised to a 3-0 record in pool play with wins over NY Blast, IVC and Brooklyn Elite. Their semifinal and final matches featured more great play as they swept the playoffs with straight set wins. Congrats to the team and Coach Anna Streicher on a great end to the season!
CHVBC 13 Fusion went a perfect 5-0 and took home first place at the GEVA 13 Open Tournament this Saturday! The team cruised through pool play with wins over CJ Heat, Westchester Pride and LHVA. In the semifinals, they continued their strong play with a 25-15, 25-19 victory over NYC Juniors SI. That set up an All-CHVBC final with CHVBC 13 White. Fusion came out on top 25-21, 25-12 to finish in first place.
On the other side of the bracket, CHVBC 13 White finished 2-1 and come out of pool play in first place with wins over Warren Sixpack and Chelsea Piers. They dominated the semifinal over Westchester Pride with a 25-12, 25-3 win, setting up the All-CHVBC final against CHVBC 13 Fusion. Congrats to both teams on a great day of volleyball!
Playing in their first GEVA event of the season, CHVBC 14 Novas took home 1st place after going a perfect 5-0 on the day! The team did not drop a set in pool play, posting wins over LIVBC, Warren Sixpack and CPVBC. Finishing first in Pool A, the Novas earned a bye in the playoffs.
Moving straight into the semifinals, the Novas put on a commanding performance with a 25-4, 25-15 win over South Bay. Their strong play continued into the finals where they swept Digs 25-13, 25-14 to seal the win. Congrats to the team on a great day of volleyball!
For the second time in a month, CHVBC 16 Spartans took home 1st place while playing up an age group in the 17s division. The team finished 2-1 in pool play with wins over Delaware United and Quandomania before suffering a setback in the 3rd match of the day when an injury left them with only 7 players.
Without any eligible substitutes, the team rallied in the playoffs beating previously undefeated NJVBC in the semifinals and avenging their only loss of the day with a tightly contested win over Eclipse in the final (26-24, 25-23).
In Pool B, CHVBC 17 Vortex came out of a three-way tie to make the gold bracket. CHVBC 16 Avalanche posted 3 wins on the day, sweeping the consolation bracket after going 1-2 in pool play. Congrats on a great day of volleyball to all of our teams!
